Today is Day #7 of 31 days of spontaneous organizing! You're going to get those shoes organized today! Now, I understand that some of you may put your shoes in a closet - which is how I do it - but some may have them in a mudroom or closet at the front entry. Doesn't matter, just get them organized and cleaned up.
Here are a couple of ideas and tips for when you organize your shoes in your closet. First off, go through them quickly - do you have too many? Are they broken, stained, yucky? Whatcha gonna to do with them? Toss or donate them.
Simply lining up your shoes is simple. You may have a shoe rack, but set up your shoes so they are easy to find, maybe by color or by type.
I have mine set up on a rack with my closet system, but I have them grouped by type, not by color.
In my hubby's closet, I also have a rack for him. He also uses a shelf to keep the rest of his shoes that don't fit on the rack. It's simple.
In my daughter's closet, she organized her own shoes by color. We simply had her set them across the floor of her closet. It doesn't have to be complicated.
