Today is Day #5 of 31 days of spontaneous organizing! Your mini-challenge for today is The Short Hanging in your closet! This can include your blouses, shirts, blazers/jackets, skirts, and pants. If you haven't had time to do the other days, today is a GREAT day to catch up!
Here are a couple of ideas and tips for when you organize your short hanging clothing in your closet. Try to find as many hangers - skirt, suit, regular - in the same color as you can. Quickly go through your clothing and toss anything that is ripped, torn, stained, doesn't fit, or is ugly! Donate or throw out. Don't try anything on at this point. Your goal is just to organize it in 15 minutes or less.
If there are a lot of mismatched hangers, that's okay but think about changing out at a later time if you'd like it to look more neat and organized - if you don't care, then don't worry about it. Group like with like - pants with pants, skirts with skirt, blouses with blouses, etc.
Also, consider hanging your clothing in rainbow order and/or buy shirt sleeve length. Doing these simple things will make your closet look more organized, feel more organized, and BE more organized.
