This is the time of year when everyone is suddenly feeling motivated to do something to change what is going on in their life. We tend to feel like it's a clean start on January 1st. I'm no exception. I make new goals every year and I feel it has greatly helped me to improve in many ways. I started a new journey with food changes this year, but I'll share more about that in another post. Many of you have the want and desire to GET ORGANIZED. Am I right? The hard part is keeping that motivation going all year long - that's what I'm here for. My job is to motivate you and inspire you - and I hope I do that. Today, I want to share some of the BEST motivation for organizing {other than right here} - and you know where I found it?

Decluttering Your Home
Every year I attend a few blog conferences, where I meet so many of the bloggers and people that I've admired and seen their work. A few years ago, I had been in contact, via Twitter and other professional organizer, with Geralin Thomas. You may or may not recognize her name, but Geralin is one of the professional organizers on the A&E show "Hoarders" and has an amazing ability to help people who are in absolute desperation to get their things organized and decluttered - but more than the average clutter bug! Well, I met her, and she and I hit it off! I adore her - she is so sweet and kind - and patient! She has written the most amazing book and I can't wait to share it with you...

Having an Organically Clean Home
It's no secret that our family has made big steps into having a home that is, not only organized, but organically clean! We use NO chemicals when cleaning and doing laundry. I've eliminated ALL bleach and use everything natural and/or organic. So, when one of my dear blog friends, Becky of Clean Mama, began to write this book The Organically Clean Home - I was ECSTATIC!!

Spring Cleaning for all Seasons!
I must be honest, I really struggle with spring cleaning. I think it's mostly because of the weather here. It's spring-like weather most of the year around in Southern California so I have never felt the sudden urge to completely clean everything in spring from top to bottom when winter is over.
I believe it's really important to get things on a schedule or some way that you can keep up with all your cleaning, to make it easier - using your own schedule to do it when needed. So, when Clean Mama told me about her new Ebook, I was VERY excited!
I’d love to introduce you to Clean Mama’s newest ebook…

Recluctant no more!
I told you about my recent read through The Reluctant Entertainer, by Sandy Coughlin. Now, I want to share some simple and easy ways to have friends over.

When is the last time you were hospitable?
Last week I told you about a great book I read recently called The Reluctant Entertainer by Sandy Coughlin. What's interesting is that since I last wrote about it, I actually have "talked" {via email} with Sandy a few times. She seems like a charming and sweet gal! I hope to one day meet her in person - since I actually visit her state quite often with my hubby, it's possible...

One of my favorite organizing books
Here is one of my favorite books on organization! I got this after I was married back in 1994. You can still buy it, too! It's a small book with less than 100 pages - 7 x 7 inches small!
