Five Simple Ways to Get Organized

I realize that not all of my readers are on Instagram or follow me on Instagram, but I have simple organizing tips on there, from time to time, that I use in my own day. So, I wanted to share five of those ways that I get organized!

Date your cosmetics :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

1. One simple way I keep things organized is I date my make up when I open it. Why do I do this? I can tell how long it takes to go through my make up and can plan how often I'll need to buy it, and I can tell if it's really old or not and need to toss it!

Organized Kitchen Pantry - use chalk in markers and clear containers to label :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

2. I've recently started eating all Paleo food and have re-organized my pantry and I always label everything with chalk ink markers on chalkboard labels, in clear containers. Why clear containers? I love how they look, but the function of them is brilliant and makes it simple to see when I'm running low and need more.

Keep your laundry organized and tidy using a tidy cup to keep from dripping messes:: OrganizingMadeFun.com

3. I love these tidy cups for my laundry area. I got mine on Zulily {here, but they may be gone now - these were the best price} or you can find them on Amazon here.  They keep the drips from the detergent bottle from going all over. It's a small way to keep organized {and clean} but every little bit helps!

Stacking, open bins organized potatoes and onions in the pantry :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

4. I keep my sweet potatoes and onions in my pantry and label them simply. I use these chalkboard clips in the open, stacking bins to keep them organized.

A jar of essentials for guests :: OrganizingMadeFun.com

5. The last tip for now is my little guest room organization - well, our guest "house" is our RV and we often have friends and pastors who stay in there. So, I made a little jar filled with essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, extra soap, etc. in case they need it! I also used a chalk ink marker and chalkboard label to make it look pretty, too!

I'll get you more tips from Instagram another time! Which is your favorite?
