What in the world does having a hair brush have to do with getting your kids out the door faster? Well, stay with me...I have a plan! You see, getting the kids out the door for school or church or wherever you have to be, can be a big pain in the neck...add in a preteen girl who's nearly 11 going on 16 and wants to "look her best" and spends countless amounts of time in the bathroom brushing her long, thick, wavy hair, and you have my dilemma. Am I the ONLY one?

Or, maybe you have a toddler that is a disaster to get her hair brushed? Yeah, I've been there, too! It wasn't that long ago, but they didn't have these hair brushes back then...
My daughter has awesome hair, until it comes time to brush it. It's long {although she cut off 12 inches last year to donate}. It's thick. It's wavy. It's gorgeous. But it's just a pain in the neck to brush it and get the tangles out -- and when you are on a time crunch, you hate to make her get up an hour early each morning to brush her hair! It's the underneath that is especially difficult for her to get -- right in the middle!
My sweet daughter, Rachel, does gymnastics twice a week. So, we have to get her hair pulled up in a bun or some sort of ponytail in order for her to participate. Getting her out the door for that has become crazy too! Having a brush like the Tangle Fix brush, that I got at Walgreens, makes getting through her tangled hair quicker and easier, so we can get out the door faster and get to wherever we're going on time.
We also tried out the Goody Quikstyle hairbrush - which helps get wet hair dryer. It's another great way to get her moving faster - since it helps her hair dry faster and detangles quickly!
She also needs to keep her drawers in the bathroom more organized, so her new brushes motivated her enough to get them organized -- another time saving way to get out the door faster! So, tell me, do you have a preteen or teenage girl who is hard to get out the door because she's still in the bathroom getting ready?
Here's the fine print:
- You can get a "buy one, get one free" promotion for the Quikstyle and TangleFix brushes at Walgreen using your balance rewards card {I signed up for mine online and used the app on my smart phone}-- remember, this is only while supplies last.
