When I can't do it all, I hire help!

When I started this blog 2 1/2 years ago, I had no idea it would ever turn into what it is today. My plan was to start it to help all the many friends from church with organizing, as I was getting a lot of people coming up and asking me about how to organize stuff. I always wanted to have my blog be a BIG resource! Well, it IS! I certainly hope you realize that!


But, with an ever growing blog {praising the Lord for being so kind to allow this}, comes added responsibilities. I currently work about 25+ hours a week just on this blog! I'm also a piano teacher to 13 piano students one day a week. I'm working nearly full time and there is so much I want to try and get done on this blog - tedious, time-consuming tasks. {I've actually cut my piano students down to one day a week now, per my hubby's request}.


So, what have I done? I'm delegating - I hired an assistant. A virtual assistant, or V.A. - who actually goes to church with me. She is SUPER organized, too! I am sure I overwhelmed her with so much information of things I need done!

Meet Shannon! Shannon is a stay at home Mom. She has a 14 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and a brand new baby boy! She's thrilled to help me out and be my assistant. So, what will she be doing for me?

Here are some of the things she'll be doing for OMF:

- Tediously going through my old posts and updating them with all kinds of techie stuff {so my site is more searchable in search engines} and easier to navigate.

- Helping me with new sponsors and answering their questions, setting things up, helping me reach out to find new ones. 

-  Help organize my blog and any other way I can possibly think of.

- Occasionally pinning things for me to many pinboards I have. 

I will still be doing all my own Facebook, Instagram, pinning 90% of what you see, blogging, photo editing, doing my own projects, getting excited about motivating you to organize!!

Let me just take a moment to tell you all that if you ever feel overwhelmed or are having too much - do whatever you can to get help! You may not always be able to hire someone, but you can get creative or ask a friend to help you {swap services}! I had been feeling like I needed just a little bit more help each month, so I've been thinking about doing this for a few months. I'm already glad I have her to help me out. I've got lots to keep her busy!
