Mom and Daughter Tiny House Adventure

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a Tiny House? Maybe you are like my daughter and I, watching all the Tiny House shows that are on right now and thinking "how could people possibly live in those?" Well, I definitely wondered how that would feel to live in one of those tiny houses and NOW I can say I have lived in one! Let me share how...

Tiny House Living

A few months ago, Thousand Trails Campgrounds approached me about their tiny house communities and rentals at a few of their campgrounds. We have been RVing at Thousand Trails campgrounds for years and have enjoyed it a lot. My daughter is also an avid tiny house lover - she even has a jar of money for her future tiny house!

We jumped at the chance of having a mom and daughter trip out near Sedona, Arizona where they have tiny house rentals. I mean, who wouldn't want to try to live in a tiny house for a few nights?

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my Instagram story with a complete tour of the whole house. So, I'll share that here for you now to see what the inside of the house looks like via video.

I also had a lot of questions from everyone about whether we could fit everything in there and the costs. The rentals start at $135 a night. It's a lot of fun in there, too! Here is another video I took of the inside of the tiny house and

So, there you go! But, I want to show you a little more of our gorgeous view from our tiny balcony! Such a beautiful place to camp! This campground in Verde Valley-Cottonwood, Arizona was immaculate. The staff was amazing, too!

And this particular campground is just 15 miles from Sedona - which is gorgeous, as you can see below.

So, if you want a tiny house experience, Thousand Trails has two different communities where you can experience that - Verde Valley in Cottonwood, Arizona and another community in the Leavenworth, Washington area with a whole community of tiny houses!

Aren't they so cute? What a wonderful experience you can have - believe me, we loved it! What do you think? Could you live in a tiny house for more than a few days? Wouldn't you like to try it?
