In the Bloglight!

I have been chosen with the honor of being in the Hometalk bloglight this week! What a special honor!

I was asked to answer a few question about myself and blog and let you know more about what I do!

How did you first get into blogging?

About 3 1/2 years ago I had several friends from church who would ask me about organizing all the time. So, I thought I'd start a blog to help motivate them and give them ideas on how to organize their space. It sort of took off from there!

How did you decide on the name of your blog?

I wanted a title with the word "Organize" in it, but also wanted to help other women enjoy organizing. So, that's how I came up with Organizing Made Fun!

Is blogging something you do on the side,
or is it a full-time job for you?

Blogging is now a FULL time job for me! I work from home, I work from my car, I work from my couch, I work from everywhere. I work 30-40 each week answering emails, social media, blog posts, taking photos, editing photos. It's a lot of work. It takes me approximately 5 hours to write one post. No small task!

What was the first project you ever posted?

My first project was a spray paint project with some succulents. My first organizing post was about kids and schedules!

What is your most popular project on Hometalk to-date?

My most popular post is my Natural Cleaning post. It seems a lot of people are looking for alternative laundry cleaning!

Do you stick to a strict posting schedule?
How do you keep track of when and how often to post?

Well, of course the organizer in me can't stand to NOT keep on a schedule. I blog three days a week, normally. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I try to stick to organizing posts only on Mondays and Wednesdays, and a project post on Fridays. But, I DO mix it up here and there. I love blogging and appreciate Hometalk for putting me in their spotlight today!
