I'm always looking for ways to save money and get organized in the process. I recently was given a Food Saver Vacuum sealing system to try out AND give one away to a reader!
I have been wanting a Food Saver Vacuum Sealer System ever since I eyeballed it at Costco a few years ago. I wondered if it was worth the money, if it really worked, if it would help when buying in bulk, and all that. So, I'm sharing my experience with you.
Yes, I love it! Yes, I'd buy it! Yes it was super easy to use. And, BONUS, it's small so it doesn't take up much room - which is a big deal to me!
I like to buy meats, especially, in bulk, but there is too much for one serving. So, I can easily purchase the meat and break up into smaller portions - plus having it vacuum sealed will help it last longer and have less chance of freezer burn.
And, speaking of freezer...I now don't have a HUGE package to put in the freezer AND it's so much better, especially for long term freezing, for the meats! I stock up on meat for the season because we are always having people over or I'm finding a good deal on meat in bulk. Do you have an extra freezer to keep bulk food?
