If you're scratching your head, wondering what is a carabiner {pronounced: kar-uh-bee-ner}, I'll tell you! It's one of the most useful little tools for organizing and I'll show you why!
I love these inexpensive little clicks of joy! They are super cheap, can hold a LOT, and come in all shapes and sizes.
Here is MY carabiner that I use for keeping my keys - not losing my mind trying to search for them every time - I attach to my purse on the inside or outside where there is a spot to click onto and I'm good to go! No more lost keys - you could even click onto a belt loop if you've got one!
How about all those rewards cards you've got for every store in town? Works great!
Got a bunch of hair ties? How about putting them on there?
And coupons? Keep them together this way. There's no way I would've thought of that!
If you're kids have backpacks and notes to give to the teacher or someone else, this is a great way to be sure it makes it to school!
If you don't have a lot of space, you can hang a chain and use a carabiner to hold each purse, like above.
I SO wish I had thought of this when I had kids in strollers - SUCH a great idea! Large carabiner to hold those bags {just watch the stroller from tipping with a kid in there!}.
If you don't have room for fancy hooks in your "entry" or "mudroom" you can make this in a closet. They used a towel hanger upside down and hang their bags from it. Genius!
Seriously, how come I don't think of all these genius things? Use the carabiner to hang all your grocery bags from your cart!!
A cheap way to hang belts from a hook! Quick, easy, and inexpensive!
And last, hang your purses from the shelf in your closet using the carabiner! Are you convinced that these are a great way to organize? If so, HERE is a place you can get them. I've also seen them at the hardware store and other stores. Keep your eyes open because they are the next thing in organizing!! There are so many more ways you could use them! Have you ever used a carabiner for organizing?
