11 Organized Small Living Spaces to Inspire You
April this year is a seriously busy month for me - I have ONE business trip {speaking at a blog conference}, ONE birthday {do I still have those?}, and ONE other week away from the kids with hubby on his business trip {traveling to Chicago}. All that traveling means a LOT of my work has to be done ahead of time and that I have to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN for being away from my kids so much {insert sad face}.
So, as a treat and a break from my OWN organizing, I'm going to highlight lots and lots of different organizing spaces, by category each week. Oh, it will be a load of fun! Today I want to start with "Small Space" Organizing. I get SO many emails and comments from you all that this is an area you need addressed. Today, you'll get some inspiration.
Let's start in the bathroom, where a high shelf turns into a "linen closet" of sorts. Just be careful if you live in "earthquake country" as I do what you put up high!
How about a teeny-tiny office space? So simple and neatly tucked into this nook.
A very non-existent entry, even though small, is put to use with hooks and a tiny bench.
This just looks fun! Imagine having your closet underneath and desk/office on top with your bed?
I love this little changing table area. It's tucked away so cute and just looks so inviting!
I did a post last year on small space organizing and featured my friend's triple bunk bed. Her three girls share a tiny spaced room and this is a great use of space! The whole house is tiny and they have made a great use of their space.
I totally love how you can raise up the bed or put drawers underneath. These are classy, too!
Kitchens are tiny too - ours once was super small. But, this use of the wall behind the entry door is brilliant!
Making double function in this closet and laundry "room" so you don't waste any space.
Tucking this nook under the stairs - another great way to make use of wasted space.
And last, this bathroom is combined with shoe and purse storage! Not sure if the humidity bothers either of them, but it looks great and doesn't take up much space! Did you get some ideas? If you need more, head over to my Organized Small Spaces board on Pinterest!
