The Best Way to Spend the First and Last Part of Your Day

This post is in partnership with IKEA.

About three blocks away from our home is Ikea. Yes, Ikea! We live three blocks away! City living has its perks! And, our Ikea is MOVING about 1/2 a mile down to make room for the LARGEST Ikea in the United States that is being built SO close to us!!! You can probably guess that I'm a BIG fan of Ikea and I shop there often - sometime I'm going to have to give you my best tips for getting the most out of an IKEA trip.

Some would even argue that I love lKEA so much that I painted my house the same colors....but enough about my crazy obsession with IKEA!

Today I am SO excited to share with you that I am partnering with IKEA! Can you believe it? One of my all-time favorite places to shop and find ways to get organized, and IKEA wants to work with me!

IKEA versus my house:: OrganizingMadeFun.com

I am passionate about helping YOU have a home that is comfortable, calm, and a haven through organization because I know you struggle with a busy lifestyle trying to manage everything at home, with your kids, your work and all that busy stuff! All this busyness can really cause anxiety and stress and so it's absolutely essential that we each take time to spend the first 59 minutes of our day not rushed or hurried or crazed, but to leverage IKEA solutions to ensure we are making the most of those precious moments. The First:59 Campaign is going to do just that!

I've been asked by IKEA, along with other lifestyle and design experts, to provide tips and ideas for morning and evenings, which include everything to getting your morning routine shortened and creating an organized bathroom so you can get your kids {and yourself} out the door on time.

My goal is to show you how to implement those goals showcasing some of my favorite IKEA products and even some great IKEA hacks, particularly in the bedroom and bathroom, which is where our days start and end! The four areas I'm going to be tackling over the next few months are:

1. Perfecting your Bedtime Ritual
2. Master Your Mornings
3. Sleeping Tighter
4. Welcome the Wake Up Call

IKEA understands how people live, and has solutions to help you make the most of these important spaces.

Seriously, this is going to be amazing! Do you have an IKEA near you? If so, how close are you? What are you favorite IKEA products you use in your home?

  1. Unfortunately our Ikea is 2 1/2 hours away. Tell them to put one in Des Moines, Iowa!!! Needless to say, I usually make the trip at least once a year. Looking forward to your posts!

  4. I really like IKEA--but the closest one is over two hours away from here, so I don't shop there very often. When I do go, I make the most of my visits! I'll be glad to see your tips.
